Dr. Jefee Bahlul is an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a Lecturer at the Yale University school of medicine. He studied at Tishreen University in Latakia, Syria,  and is a Former Resident Physician at Zale Lipshy University Hospital. His academic interests inlcude issues related to global mental health, refugee mental health, cross-cultural psychiatry and the implementation of telemental health in conflict and disaster settings. Dr. Jefee-Bahloul conducts his research in the U.S and the Middle East.
