Jon Elmer is a Canadian journalist and researcher who has reported extensively from the West Bank and Gaza Strip beginning with the Second Intifada. He has been based in Jenin, Rafah, Gaza City, and Bethlehem. Elmer has also worked from Lebanon following the 2006 ceasefire, the Sinai Peninsula, and Jordan. He has worked as a print and radio reporter, a photojournalist and, for the past decade, in television and documentary film focusing on political violence and armed struggle. Jon Elmer is Contributing Editor at The Electronic Intifada.
